La tenista paralímpica nacional Macarena Cabrillana (25ª de la ITF) puso fin este viernes a su meritoria participación en el US Open al caer en un duro partido ante la estadounidense Emmy Kaiser (12ª).

La chilena batalló durante tres sets buscando en ansiado paso a su primera final en un torneo grande, pero no pudo ante la deportista local que se impuso por 4-6, 7-5 y 6-3.

Cabrillana, que venía de vencer a la alemana Katharina Kruger, primera sembrada del torneo (8ª) en dos sets, 6-3 y 6-1, se despidió así entre las cuatro mejores.
