El Centro Meteorológico Marítimo de Valparaíso emitió un nuevo aviso de marejadas a contar de este jueves 26, afectando desde Arica hasta el sector de Golfo de Penas, e ncluyendo al Archipiélago Juan Fernández.

El jefe del Centro Meteorológico Marítimo de Valparaíso, comandante Gonzalo Concha, explicó que "esperamos marejadas del suroeste en nuestro litoral y territorio insular, generando oleaje con fuerte rompiente en bahías abiertas a esa dirección".

Agrego que "su mayor desarrollo (será) durante la madrugada del día viernes 27, coincidente con las horas de pleamar o altas mareas. Estas marejadas corresponden al aviso especial número 33 del presente año".

Desde la Armada indicaron que "se debe actuar con prudencia y cautela y respetar las normas de seguridad establecidas".
